ALIEN CHICKS

Joe and Stefan have been friends, brothers, and occasional lovers since they met at a tap dancing class when they were 10, and have been writing music together for years. They bumped into Martha completely by chance in Peckham, when she overheard Joe complaining about not being able to find a drummer, and volunteered to bless the band with her exceptional drumming talent. They instantly clicked as a trio and played their first gig on 4th October  2021, headlining the New Cross Inn. Since then, they’ve been relentlessly gigging, playing between one and four gigs every week at venues from London to Southampton. They have just been on their first tour of the North, to Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Hull, and Sheffield. They have made their mark on the South London music scene as regulars (‘the new house band’) at the Windmill Brixton, who have dubbed them ‘South London’s hardest working post-punk power trio’. They released their debut single ‘While My Landlord Sleeps’ on 7th April, and will be releasing a follow-up single in June.
